I was really excited to read this book as soon as the sign-up post ended up in my feed I knew I wanted to read it!
Stab Love with Flower Stalks is a really quick read a perfect read when you don’t have a lot of time. However, you really get the most out of the stories by rereading it! I found that I got the most out of the stories on my 2nd and 3rd readthrough. I managed to do my readthroughs in an hour or so so it was an amazingly short read!
My favorite story in the collection was the first one featuring love between past lives. I thought it was beautiful and I would have loved to see more past lives. Even though that one is my favorite the other stories were really well done and they featured a lot of interesting themes including new love, falling out of love, and, anxiety. Above I also listed the tags from the author so keep an eye out for that as well!
I would for sure recommend this book to those who love poetry and anyone interested in trying poetry out for themselves! It was for sure worth the time it took me to read it!
