Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly meme created by The Broke and the Bookish and now hosted by Jana @ That Artsy Reader Girl, wherein each week bloggers list out their Top Ten.
TBRs and I have a rocky relationship. Once I say I want to read something I pretty much never pick it up in the month that I said I would. Seasonal TBRs seem a little more reasonable to me so I’m really excited to give this a try. Fall is my favorite season to read in. I love getting cozy and warm with a good book especially in this season.
Classics on my TBR
Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde
Every fall I pick one book that it “horror” or darker than what I normally read to read around Halloween this year I decided to finally give this one a chance. This one is also really short so it shouldn’t take me very long at all.
Jane Eyre
I’ve been avoiding this book all year! This is some of my best friends’ favorite book. Regency isn’t my favorite type of books so I’m a little bit nervous to give this a try. However, of all of the victorianish books out there I think I will enjoy Jane as a character more than any of the other characters I’ve been told about. Fingers crossed I finally get to this one!
Series I want to continue in 2019
I was obsessed with the beginning of this series. When I read the first two books this one wasn’t out yet. The 2nd book broke me and I’m not ready to finish this series but its time!
I’m late to the party Lore is a really popular podcast that I’ve never watched but I randomly picked the first in this series up from my library and loved the first 2 books. They were actually really scary to me so I’ve been keeping a little gap between them. I think this one will not be as scary since its places.
If you’ve been following me for awhile you’ve probably noticed I’ve been obsessed with Joely Sue Burkhart. The main story that followed Shara is on hold right now while she introduces new characters so I really want to see the other Queens’ stories so I’m all caught up when Shara is back in play.
Nonfiction
This is a recent find for me but I’ve always been interested in Astrology so I thought I would try to read up on it. I’ve heard this is a great book if you want to interpret your birth chart so I’m going to give it a try. It was recommended by a friend so I’m pretty excited to try this one.
Ok, so this one has kind of been on my radar for a while now but never on my TBR. With that being said I am really interested in possibly starting my own business so I’m trying to read a whole bunch of motivation books and this one is at the top of my TBR right now.
This one has a really high rating on Goodreads and one of my favorite booktubers Sylwia rated this really high and I trust her opinion so I’m really excited to give this one a go. This one comes with a whole slew of trigger warnings though so I’m going in this one cautiously.
This book has been on my currently reading list for months. For whatever reason, I can only manage a couple stories at a time in this collection. I’m enjoying it though and I’m hoping to finish this so I can start next year off fresh
This book is the only one that I am currently reading so I’m sure I’ll finish it before Fall is over. I’ve read 3-4 stories so far and I have really liked the “Black Enough” has been my favorite so far.
Do you do seasonal TBRs? What are you planning to read this Fall?
Yay! So excited for you to read The Forever Song. Love that series!

Jane Eyre is such a good read. I was expecting a romance when I first picked it up (and I’m not super into romance), so I was surprised by how many other genres it slipped into. I really hope you like it.
My TTT.

I do reading challenges and late fall brings me to all the books I’ve put off earlier in the year.
I’m in the same boat with Jane Eyre, surprised my friends haven’t shunned me. Yet, I’m still holding out-too much else to read atm.
I like the variety you posted in your list.
