October: Library Haul

Basic Baking Guide Blog Banner

I haven’t been making it to my local library very often lately but I did manage to stop by at the very end of the month. So I thought I ould share with you guys the books I have checked out currently.

Physical Library

Heroine by Mindy McGinnis I’ve heard amazing things about the addiction rep. I’ve also heard this is a hard book to read if you struggle with addiction since it is really graphic but I’m really excited to try this I’ve never seen a review under 3 stars for this. I also have the audiobook out from the library as well.

Quarantine: A love story by Katie Cicatelli-Kuc this was a complete surprise pick up and honestly I didn’t love the part of the story that I’ve read so far. I’m really not loving it so I’m going to put it down and return it to the library.

Made You Up by Francesca Zapata I actually just finished this moments before starting this post. This is one of my favorite books I’ve read recently. This has been on my TBR for years so I am so excited to finally of read it and I gave it 5 stars.

Llewellyn’s Complete Book of Divination by Richard Webster. I love learning about Divination. I think it is really cool to look into the different types and I’m enjoying learning about different practices that I didn’t know existed.

The Stars Within You by Juliana McCarthy. Astrology is a new subject for me. Besides the really basic horoscopes in the newspaper, I don’t really know much about astrology. I’ve heard this is a really good reference to comprehend birth charts so I am really excited to examine mine further.

Second Grave on the Left by Darynda Jones, I started this series last month and so far it is a really quick read. The 1st book also left off with a cliffhanger so I’m stoked to get back into this world and see what happens next.

Do Not Disturb by A.R. Torre I’ve been waiting to read this book for over a year. Every time I went to the library this book was checked out but not last week so I am so excited to finally pick this up and see how the story continues.

The Way You Make Me Feel by Maurene Goo. I loved reading Maurene Goo’s debut so I knew I wanted o pick this up as soon as I saw it was available at my library. I actually don’t know what this about but I’m really excited to give it a try.

The Hating Game by Sally Thorne The hype has gotten me, guys! I am so excited to read this its next on my list after my current read. I love a good enemy to lovers plotline and I’ve heard it does it really well so I’m excited to finally read it.

Hoopla Library

The Vision Vol.1 by Tom King I haven’t read anything in the Marvel universe in a really long time Vision was one of my favorite characters back when I read comics so I’m excited to read his own comic series. This is also for my A-Z reading challenge for the letter V.

To Drink Coffee with a Ghost by Amanda Lovelace. This is the last of Lovelace’s books that I haven’t read. I really love Amanda’s way of writing and I’m always excited to read this collection.

Art Starts with a Line by Erin McManness. I’ve been trying to become more motivated to work on art since its something I loved to do but I haven’t been working on it for a long time.

That’s all for me this month! I have a lot of amazing sounding books on my list this month. Have you read any of the books on my list? I would love to chat with you!
